We're huge fans of our local craft beer scene in Chicago, the suburbs, and great towns throughout America. In 2012 after traveling the country in search of great beers, we hatched a plan to bring them all right back here, to our home in Elgin, Illinois. We've become a destination for locals and visitors alike.

Welcome to our Tap Room and Beer Garden in Elgin, Illinois!
We are 21+ only (kids are welcome Sundays only from April-October), and leashed pets are welcome anytime.
Outside beverages, coolers, or tailgating are not permitted. We do not serve food. However, you’re more than welcome to Bring Your Own Food on days when a food truck is not scheduled.

Wednesday - Thursday: 2:00pm - 9:00pm
Friday: 2:00pm - 9:00pm.
Saturday: 12:00pm - 9:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm - 7:00pm

Beer Garden, front porch, patio and Tap Room seating available first come first serve. Private fire pit and Lounge Pod reservations are available Wednesday through Sunday. Don’t forget to check out our hiking trails!

TABLES

Our outdoor and indoor tap room seating is available year ‘round, and is first come, first served. All drinks are ordered at the bar. Relax in our award winning beer garden and sip on a cold craft beer, cider, or cocktail under an umbrella in our main lawn, patio, or covered front porch.
Pets are welcome! If you bring your dog, we kindly request they are kept on a leash at all times. Use the hashtag #plankroadpups for a chance to be featured on our Instagram and weekly newsletter.

WOODLAND LOUNGE POD

Make your experience at Plank Road Tap Room more intimate with our Woodland Lounge Pod. Our Lounge Pod offers a private tasting experience for up to 4 people located just off the main lawn, and nestled in nature with views of a horse farm and our beer garden!

FIRE PIT RENTALS

In order to provide this experience there is a fire pit fee which includes: private enjoyment of the fire pit for your group during a designated day/time, premium kiln dried fire wood, and a fire pit attendant to light it and keep your wood stocked.

Cancellation policy: The fire pit fee holds your spot during the designated day and time of your fire pit reservation. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, your will loose your reservation. There are no refunds except in instances where the weather does not allow us to build a fire (heavy rain or winds, etc.) in which case a full refund will be issued to you. Please include your phone number during checkout so we can notify you of this change if there is an issue.
