We're currently hiring for the position(s) listed below. Please review all of the duties and requirements listed.

Assist with day-to-day operations at Plank Road Tap Room, as well as provide service during special events, outdoor porch and beer garden service, and normal tap room business operations.


Deadline for applications is end of business day on Wednesday, March 6th.
Interviews will be completed by March 20th, with a projected early April start date.


  • Serve beer for on-site consumption and to-go package sales during normal business hours

  • Assist with cleaning/maintenance of tap room and outdoor service areas

  • Assist with merchandise sales and organization

  • Assist with on-site events, including set-up and clean-up

  • Open and close the tap room as required


  • Must have weekend availability

  • Must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcohol

  • Previous bartending experience highly desired

  • Assimilate into our tap room’s culture of inclusivity and comradery

  • Ability to speak intelligently about various beer styles and breweries

  • Interpret guests’ tastes/needs and make recommendations based on those needs

  • Basic understanding of how beer is brewed and the beer industry in general

  • Understanding of draft equipment, sanitation, and maintenance

  • BASSET Certification required prior to hiring

  • Within 30 days of hire, Cicerone® Beer Server Certification required


  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, including maneuvering stairways

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lb. cases of beer and move 165 lb. kegs of beer

  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including afternoons, evenings and weekends
