Plank Road Tap Room is hosting a fundraiser for Team Celia's support of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition!
Through the years, the PRTR crew has gotten to know a great couple, Allison and Tim. Recently, we were made aware that Tim's mom, Celia, had beaten ovarian cancer once and is currently fighting it again. Celia's toughness through this fight has inspired Tim and Allison to raise money to help other women who may be taking on this monster with less means and support.
Throughout the evening, Team Celia will be raffling items from local businesses who have made contributions. We will also have a beer on tap dedicated to Team Celia. All proceeds from the sale of that beer will go to support the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
Please, take some time out from your Saturday and enjoy a pint for Team Celia or get in on one of the raffles. We plan on having a fun evening and doing everything we can to support NOCC and the fight against ovarian cancer.
