Penrose Brewmaster & Co Founder Tom Korder and our own Alan Moreno are hosting a sensory training on Thursday, April 7th.
This training will allow attendees to taste and experience six different flavors that are largely considered flaws in beer. Tom and Alan will review what those flavors are, discuss what causes them and how they likely developed in the beer.
We'll be reviewing the following flavor compounds...
- Skunky
- Diacetyl
- D.M.S.
- Oxidation
- Acetaldehyde
- Contamination/Infection
This event is for everyone from the casual drinker who wants a higher level understanding to an industry professional looking for hands-on practice for an exam.
