What pairs well with Christmas and the whole Holiday season? We’d say a beer that’s a long-standing collaboration between long time friends.

Many of you will recognize “Too Much Cologne” as that tasty Kölsch (style beer) that is always on tap at Plank Road, but we’ve always seen it as more than that.

This lovely, refreshing beer is a collaboration between ourselves and the delightful crew at Crystal Lake Brewing. It’s what we like to call a liquid high-five. It’s a perfect way to start or end your appearance at Plank Road. It’s also a beer style with a pretty fun serving practice back in Germany.

When you come in for a Too Much Cologne during the event:

• You’ll receive a Stange glass (about 10 oz.) of TMC and a coaster.

• We will be bringing TMCs out to the tables when your glasses empty.

• For every TMC we bring you, we’ll tick a mark on to your coaster and put it on your tab.

• When you’ve decided that you’ve had enough TMC, cover your glass with the coaster.

• We will keep bringing them if the coaster isn’t on top of the glass.

On top of Too Much Cologne, we’ll also have two other CLB beers on tap.

There are no tickets. There’s no hard schedule. There is only awesome collaborative beer and great times. Let’s call it noon to 5. We’ll see you on the 23rd. Prost!
